Creating Tasks

Now that you're up to speed on the routine, it's time to get stuck in and create some tasks. There are two main ways teams create tasks in Aphex: Top Down or Bottom Up.

Bottom Up

Create Tasks from scratch (Bottom Up)

You can create, group and duplicate your tasks from the Gantt. The duration, relationship links and dates can be changed by playing with individual task bars, or by editing multiple tasks at once.

Top Down

Breakdown Imported Tasks from P6 (Top Down)

You will be assigned high level tasks that have been imported from P6. Break these down into subtasks and play around with the dates and duration, without losing reference to the original activities.
