Search

You can search for a task by name or Aphex activity ID.

You can only search for tasks within your current view. Tasks that match the search criteria will be highlighted in yellow.

Filter

You can filter the plan so that only work matching the selected filters is shown on the Gantt.

Deactivated users and archived packages and assets are excluded from the filter. The filters you can choose from are:

Zoom

Day/Week/Month

You can change the Gantt’s zoom with the Day/Week/Month toggle. This will alter the timeline format of the Gantt and the size that task bars appear.

The Gantt will zoom in and out based on a fixed point in the middle of the visible Gantt.

Spaces

Using the Space Selector, you can choose from viewing just your work, all work in the project or work in custom teams.

By default, your last viewed space will be automatically selected when you reopen your project.

Reordering groups in any of these personal spaces will only reorder your view.

Team Spaces

Viewing work by Team will show tasks owned by members of that Team.

By default, Teams you are a member of will be pinned in your space selector.

Reordering groups in a Team Space will reorder the view for everyone on the project.

Overlays

You can add an extra layer of information to the Gantt with an overlay.

The overlays you can choose from are:

Enabling ‘Hide empty Structure’ prevents Packages and WBS that contain no tasks within your time period from appearing on the Gantt.

Tidy Up

When making changes to your plan, Tidy Up reapplies the default sorting order and any selected filters.

By default, when editing, Aphex locks tasks in view so that they don’t disappear when you’re making changes or resolving clashes.

After selecting Tidy Up, tasks that don’t meet the selected filter and the chosen view will no longer be visible on the Gantt, and all updated tasks will be repositioned into the correct sort order.
